On the 16th of February, 2009, Ruth and I moved into our new home. We had been looking forward to having more space and a bit more peace and quiet than we had at the downtown address. Although it really was in beautiful shape when we bought it, we had decided we would do some renovating to the new place. It took me about five months to complete the work but we are very happy here. We really enjoy the neighborhood ... the peaceful surroundings, the park-like setting of much of the neighborhood, the tranquil walking trail along the shore of the Northwest Arm, and happy that Alvin finally has a place where he can watch birds and squirrels and bask in the sun.
